Digital Electronics Lab
Now-a-days everything is becoming digital whether it is an invertor , UPS , TV or any electronic gadget. To expertise in digital world this lab is very helpful where students can perform practicals on gates (AND , OR , NOT , NOR & EXOR , NAND ) Half adder / Subtractor , Flip – Flop ( R-S, D, J-K ) , decoder drives 7447/744 PIC , 7 – Segment LED display , Tristate gate IC – 7412b , Encoder / Decoder , Multiplexer / Demultiplexer, Shift registers , Universal Shift register , Ring Counter , A to D convertor and D to A Convertor.
We have individuals rooms for each lab.
1 ) Basic Electronics Lab :
In order to introduce the students with basic components of electronics this lab is furnished with advanced CRO’s , function generators and digital multimeters. Students can perform practicals on P-N junction diode , Zener Diode , rectifiers and filters , transistor biasing and their characteristics in different modes , RC coupled amplifiers and FETs .On completion of all the practicals , the student will be be familiarize with basic components are their characteristics.
Electronics Devices and Circuits :
This lab makes students accessible with the analog electronics components. With having basic knowledge of electronic components , students can explore themselves by making and testing their characteristics with two stage RC – coupled amplifier, Push pull amplifier, emitter follower , wein bridge oscillator , Phase – shift oscillator , Hartley & Colpitt’s oscillator , IC 555 as stable , monostable vibrators , op – amp as invertor adder , subtractor and integrator. Also clipper , clamper circuits and 3 terminal voltage regulator. And of course the lab is well equipped with advance CRO and function generators.
Principles of Communication lab :
This lab is equipped with the latest 30 MHz ‘Caddo’ and CRO with LCD display for easier calculation and frequencies. Students can be familiarized with amplitude modulation , frequency modulation , modulation indexes, DSB – SC , FM – detector, Foster Seelay Ratio detector, Sampling theorem , PAM , PPM , PWM , Quantization noise , Delta modulation and demodulation.After completing the practicals,the students will be well known with the basic concepts of communication.
